I arrived on LZ Bayonet about the second week in September, 1968. I was in country about one
month before Charlie Battery went to the field. The guys in the original group were getting ready to go home.
The pictures you are about to see are of my short stay at Bayonet. I never returned to LZ Bayonet.

Dead sapper killed on LZ Bayonet. He is responsible for all of the damage that you saw
above. This was my first dead gook to see, I never took anymore pictures of dead bodies while I was in country.
My mother didn't like it nor did my wife-to-be.
